From July 1, the "Interim Provisions on the Management of Pre-provisioning and Distribution of Mobile Smart Terminal Application Software" came into effect, requiring manufacturers and Internet information providers to ensure that mobile smart terminal application software other than basic function software can be uninstalled. Now, following the uninstallable software of the phone, the privacy protection work has been upgraded again. According to Xinhua News Agency, four departments, including the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Standards Commission, jointly carried out special work on privacy clauses. The special work on privacy clauses will select network products and services in batches and analyze and sort out their privacy terms.

The first ten online products and services reviewed are commonly used by the public, including WeChat, Sina Weibo, Taobao, Jingdong Mall, Alipay, Amap, Baidu Map, Didi, Travel, and Ctrip.

In mid-to-late September, the relevant work will be summarized and the evaluation results will be announced to the public.
